Rho1.AI ("we", "our", or "us") builds certification exam preparation flashcard apps as free applications. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use any of our apps.

Information We Do Not Collect

Our Flashcards apps are designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:

We do not collect personal information (name, email, address, etc.)
We do not collect usage or analytics data
We do not use cookies or tracking technologies
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs
We do not access your contacts, photos, location, or any other device data

Data Stored on Your Device

Each app stores your study progress (card status, selected domains, and reminder preferences) locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults. This data:

Never leaves your device
Is not transmitted to any server
Is not accessible by us or any third party
Is automatically removed if you delete the app

Notifications

If you choose to enable study reminders, the app uses the iOS local notification system. Notification preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not use push notification servers and do not receive any notification-related data.

In-App Purchases

Our apps offer an optional Tip Jar feature that uses Apple's built-in In-App Purchase system (StoreKit). Tips are one-time consumable purchases processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect, store, or have access to any payment information, billing details, or Apple ID data. All transactions are handled securely by Apple in accordance with their privacy policy.

Third-Party Services

Our apps do not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only external service used is Apple's StoreKit for optional in-app tip purchases, which is managed entirely by Apple.

Children's Privacy

Our apps do not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The apps are educational study tools suitable for all ages.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
