Rho1 flashcard apps only — Last updated: February 11, 2026

This policy covers the free flashcard apps only. It does not cover PMP Prep (on iOS or at pmp.rho1.ai), which has accounts, syncs between your devices and offers a subscription — and therefore does collect data. If you are using PMP Prep, the policy that applies to you is at rho1.ai/privacy.

This privacy policy applies to the free Rho1 flashcard apps: PMP Flashcards, PgMP Flashcards, CBAP Flashcards, PRINCE2 Flashcards, PMI-ACP Flashcards, PMI-RMP Flashcards, PMI-PBA Flashcards, CAPM Flashcards, CSM Flashcards, PSM Flashcards, ITIL Flashcards, and CFA Flashcards.

Rho1 Inc. ("we", "our", or "us") publishes these flashcard apps as free applications. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use one of them.

Information We Do Not Collect

These flashcard apps are designed with your privacy in mind. Through them we do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:

We do not collect personal information (name, email, address, etc.)
We do not collect usage or analytics data
We do not use cookies or tracking technologies
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs
We do not access your contacts, photos, location, or any other device data

Data Stored on Your Device

Each app stores your study progress (card status, selected domains, and reminder preferences) locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults. This data:

Never leaves your device
Is not transmitted to any server
Is not accessible by us or any third party
Is automatically removed if you delete the app

Notifications

If you choose to enable study reminders, the app uses the iOS local notification system. Notification preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not use push notification servers and do not receive any notification-related data.

In-App Purchases

These apps offer an optional Tip Jar feature that uses Apple's built-in In-App Purchase system (StoreKit). Tips are one-time consumable purchases processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect, store, or have access to any payment information, billing details, or Apple ID data. All transactions are handled securely by Apple in accordance with their privacy policy.

Third-Party Services

These apps do not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only external service used is Apple's StoreKit for optional in-app tip purchases, which is managed entirely by Apple.

Children's Privacy

These apps do not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The apps are educational study tools suitable for all ages.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
